If you would like to study in Universities of Nigeria, Nigeria and pursue Full Time Undergraduate and Graduate Program in health, technology, and finance, all areas in which the foundation is deeply engaged.you can avail 100 Jim Ovia Scholarships which is being offered by the Jim Ovia Foundation.

This is a Undergraduate and Graduate Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from National Students to apply for the same. Only Few such award is being offered and the deadline for application is 15 September 2016 to 15 November 2016 Every Year.

This Scholarship will offer you an annual award of 150,000 Nigerian Naira, renewable for up to the entire duration of the beneficiary’s educational tenure. Take note that awards are not automatically renewed annually. Students who have previously been awarded the Jim Ovia Scholarship must fill out a renewal application online to re-apply. Incomplete or non-submission of the required documentation, unverifiable or forged documents will automatically disqualify you for the scholarship for Complete Course Duration.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for these scholarships:-

  1. The scholarship is open to all potential students of Nigerian citizenship. One hundred (100) awardees are selected each year from a pool of eligible applicants. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of personal intellectual ability, leadership capability and a desire to contribute to society at large to improve the lives of others.

Notes from Scholarships Time s Advisory:

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:

The mode of application is Online. The following documents are required to submit a full application for a New or Renewal Scholarship Award. Please note that all scanned copies must be of the original document, photocopied scans will not be accepted.

New Applicant’s Documentation:

  1. a) Completed online application
  2. b) Valid Government ID (e.g. International passport, Voter’s Card, National ID or Driver’s License)

Please Note: That a certificate of origin or birth certificate will not be accepted as a valid form of ID. The only exception will be for minors below the age of 18 years who are unable to apply for a government ID. In which case, a birth certificate will be accepted in lieu of a government ID for such minors.

  1. c) An official original letter (not photocopied) letter from your school/Head of Department stating the following:
  • Your full name
  • Course Title
  • Department of Study
  • CGPA
  • Gender
  • Matriculation number

or

  • Newly matriculated who have not yet received a matriculation number or school ID must provide a provisional admission letter to their institution of study.
  1. d) Original Secondary School Certificate (WAEC or NECO)
  2. e) Original JAMB certificate
  3. f) A valid student ID for your host institution (University/College)
  4. g) A passport photograph

Renewing Applicant’s Documentation:

  1. a) Completed online application
  2. b) Valid Government ID (e.g. International passport, Voter’s Card, National ID or Driver’s License)
