The International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light (IMPRS-PL), Germany offers PhD scholarships in physics and engineering within a unique framework. Students must have an excellent degree equivalent to a diploma or master in physics, engineering or computer science is required.
About Scholarship: The programme is jointly organised by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF. The doctoral degree will be awarded by one of the faculties of natural sciences or engineering.
