About Scholarship: The Weidenfeld-Roland Berger Scholarships Scheme supports five postgraduate students per annum with the objective of promoting human rights and human dignity across a range of fields. It is envisioned that recipients will contribute more effectively in their professional lives to advancing these objectives in their countries and regions of origin.

Eligibility:
-Candidates should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford.
-They should also in normal circumstances be intending to return to their countries or regions of origin once their courses are completed.
-This scholarship is open to candidates studying for all graduate degree courses, with the exception of PGCert and PGDip courses.

Number of awards: 5
Cover: 100% of university and college fees, and a grant for living costs (the rate in 2012-13 was £13,590).
Selection criteria:
1.A strong interest in human rights and human dignity, which they can demonstrate either through their academic work, their extra-curricular activities or their planned professional careers; 2.An interest in exploring social and economic models which would support the promotion of human rights and human dignity.
