2013 Scholarships are offered by Karim Rida Said Foundation for Students from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine or Syria for Pursuing Master’s Program at Partner Universities in UK

Cover: The scholarships are co-funded by Goldsmiths who pay a percentage of the tuition fees on behalf of successful applicants.
Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for a Said Foundation Scholarship you need to:
-have a good first degree
–provide evidence of your proficiency in English
-be under forty years of age
-be Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian or Palestinian (including Palestinians inside Israel) and be resident in the Middle East
-demonstrate that your chosen course of study will be of use to your home country or the Middle East region
-have at least two years’ work experience
-sign a binding undertaking to apply the skills and knowledge you have gained in one of the -Foundation’s target countries
Selection Criteria: The selection panel will look at the applicant’s academic record, financial need, likelihood to succeed in their proposed course, usefulness of subject to the applicant’s country, motivation, future career intentions and practical ability to make use of the knowledge to be gained in the UK on return to the Middle East and personality.
Scholarship Open for: The students of Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine or Syria can apply.
About Scholarship: The Said Foundation provides full or partial scholarships to students from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine or Syria to study for a Masters degree for one year. The scholarships are co-funded by Goldsmiths who pay a percentage of the tuition fees on behalf of successful applicants. The Foundation can also consider distance learning courses and shorter postgraduate courses at accredited UK academic institutions.
