Applications are invited by Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M), Kancheepuram for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) fellowship program.
Scholarship Details:
The scholars admitted to the Ph.D programs under the regular scheme (Fulltime) are eligible for the Half-time Teaching/Research Assistantship (HTRA) under the following regulations:
* The scholars should work for 8 hours per week to earn this assistantship.
* Renewal of assistantship every semester will be contingent on enrolment, satisfactory progress in research work and good performance during the preceding semester in the discharge of responsibility as teaching/research assistant.
a) In Engineering for those with master’s degree in Engineering Rs.18,000/- p.m. for first 2 years & Rs.20,000/- p.m. for next 2 years
b) In Engineering for those admitted directly with B.E/B.Tech degrees Rs.16,000/- p.m. for first 2 years & Rs.18,000/- p.m. for next 3 years
c) In Sciences Rs.16,000/- p.m. for first 2 years & Rs.18,000/- p.m. for next 3 years
Eligibility:
The minimum educational qualifications are the same as prescribed for regular (full time) category for admission to the Ph.D program in the respective categories.
