Doctoral Research Fellowship in the field of Sciences in (Chemistry, Pharmacy, or an Equivalent Discipline) at University of Antwerp, 2012 Belgium
About Scholarship: The aim of this project is to investigate the sewage epidemiologyapproach for new drugs/psychoactive compounds and their metabolites. At UA, we will investigate if sewage epidemiology can be used to identify and characterize the use of “new and emerging” substances on the drug market and to estimate their consumption. The constant appearance of new substances on the drug market and changes in patterns of illicit drug use has serious implications for drug policy. The European Monitoring Centre for Drug and Drug Addiction requires better knowledge, together with timely and objective information.
