Scholarship Provider: Learning Potential Fund, as well as funds from QUT and the Commonwealth Government

Eligibility: You must be:
-From a low-income background be experiencing financial hardship.
-We also take personal hardship into consideration.
You may be eligible even if you’re not eligible for Commonwealth scholarships.
-The computer scheme is not available for: visiting students cross-institutional students QUT International College students.

Scholarship Description: The QUT Equity Scholarships Scheme targets students from low-income backgrounds or students who face significant financial barriers to studying at university. There are also specific scholarships for low-income students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The QUT Equity Scholarships Scheme offers about $2.5 million worth of scholarships, bursaries and computers to low-income students each year. In Semester 2, 2012 the Scheme will offer the following:
· Equity Scholarships ($1250 for one semester) · Equity Bursaries ($1000 for one semester) · Faculty Equity Bursaries ($1000 for one semester)

Please i need clarification on the above illustration about scholarships.i want to apply for a scholarship under Health because i have a Certificate and i cannot manage to further it because of the high tuition fees.THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
